Built an AI-powered platform that helps parents document, organize, and analyze high-conflict custody cases through intelligent evidence management and case reporting.

the problem
Traditional case management for family law is overwhelmingly manual. Parents often manage hundreds of screenshots, emails, medical records, police reports, and court documents across disconnected apps and folders, making it nearly impossible to identify long-term behavioral patterns or prepare evidence efficiently. The challenge was to design a platform capable of organizing complex legal documentation while introducing AI in a way that increased trust, transparency, and user confidence rather than replacing human judgment.
Product Strategy
Rather than building another document storage application, I designed DUF around explainable intelligence. Every AI feature was created to assist users—not make legal conclusions—by surfacing evidence, identifying recurring behaviors, and generating structured reports that users remain fully in control of. Working iteratively with emerging AI technologies, I established a modular architecture separating communication analysis, case intelligence, timelines, evidence management, and reporting into reusable systems capable of scaling independently as the platform evolves. This product-first approach created a foundation capable of supporting future AI capabilities while maintaining transparency, legal defensibility, and user trust.
