Executive Summary

Culture Index faced a critical product delivery challenge. A major redesign initiative had fallen six months behind schedule, reducing stakeholder confidence and putting an important product launch at risk. The existing experience no longer reflected modern UX expectations, while engineering required clear design direction to move development forward. As Lead UX Consultant, I helped reset the initiative by introducing a structured design process, rapidly modernizing the platform, and restoring alignment across stakeholders and engineering teams.

The challenge extended well beyond visual redesign. The project required rebuilding confidence in both the product and the delivery process while working against an immovable launch deadline. Success depended on balancing speed, quality, and collaboration without allowing technical constraints or schedule pressure to compromise the user experience.

Rather than attempting to redesign the entire platform simultaneously, I prioritized high-impact workflows that delivered immediate value while creating a scalable visual language for the remainder of the application. I established recurring design reviews, improved stakeholder communication, and aligned design efforts closely with engineering capacity to accelerate delivery without sacrificing usability. This phased approach allowed the team to rebuild momentum while maintaining a consistent product vision throughout development.
